美國中美研究中心高級研究員蘇拉布·古普塔(Sourabh Gupta)近日接受中新網專(zhuan) 訪時稱，美中關(guan) 係存在“新常態”，但並不意味著兩(liang) 國一定要成為(wei) 對手。為(wei) 美中兩(liang) 國構建一個(ge) 建設性共存的“新常態”框架需要極大的努力。古普塔進一步指出，作為(wei) 世界前兩(liang) 大經濟體(ti) ，美中兩(liang) 國之間麵臨(lin) 著諸如氣候變化等全球性挑戰。因此，兩(liang) 國必須通力合作，塑造富有穩定性、建設性和明確性的美中關(guan) 係，共同打造美好的未來。(陳天浩)

　　Sourabh Gupta, senior research fellow at ICAS, noted that there is a “new normal” in U.S.-China relations, but that doesn’t mean that both countries have to be adversaries. He added that there is a huge price to be had to author the framework of this new normal, under which there is constructive and clear-eyed coexistence.

　　Gupta further said that there are also much larger global challenges including climate change the two major powers face. Therefore, the U.S. and China should coordinate, construct a stable and constructive but a clear-eyed relationship, and work together for a better future.
